I'm Gemad, I was born 5-24-80 in Cooperstown NY. I lived in the Boarding Town Circle Projects in Norwich NY til I was 7. I moved to Utica and lived here ever since. me and my brother DMS a.k.a. SunDog made a short lived rap group named 'Da Juvenilez'. After that I just wrote for other people and got into poetry. In '97 one of my friends told me I should rapping again. I made Upstate Crew, in three years of existance it's had five different members, the most was four at one time. Upstate Crew didn't work out because Matt (of Tha Brownz) quit rapping and CD lost the love for the music. So I'm solo now...I was always and still am a story-teller but I've been callenged by a few people lately. In my audio you'll hear diss cuts towards UAO, Cobalt and Mike Coluzzi a.k.a. MC Scrub...
