Im a young white mc that goes by the name of M.C.HaZe, rep'n out of Calgary, Alberta, Canada, So ya'll know it cold up here, (laughin) Us Canucks need somethin to do nah mean???? Well, a little of my background history, Im 13, goin on 14 now, so Ima real young mc, shouldn't be cursin and shit like I do, but I do it. I started rhymin when I was bout 11, Where I would rhyme about stuff like homework and people I didn't like and had beef with, many o those beefs came to an end when they whupped my ass for talking about them, I went from that to listenin to a variety of things, like ICP (Yes, I later learned that they were considerably wack), Tupac, Snoop Dogg and others. When I was 12, I stopped rhymin, but would write a freestyle every so often, usually bout sad shit cuz my Grandmother died that year. This year has been really good to me. I finally got the balls to go and post my shit on some freestyle boards, although I did it under many alias, with each alias my flow changed too, when I started on the boards, my flow was really rough, but as I "graduated" to each alias the flowing seemed to get a lot better in terms of both writing and all the words rhyming, Now Im a proud reciever of many 5 and 4.5 Mic ratings at the board where I spit. When I first adopted the HaZe alias I was spittin raw like Old Dirty and my flows mad absolutely no fucking sense, but now, Im spitting on a faster and more lyrical plane. Like Eminem. I plan to keep this style as long as I rhyme for. My personality is pretty fucked as I've always been a fucked up child. My Family background was ok as a little kid, but for the past few years its gotten really fucked up...even thou could say Im well off...but it aint like I got no problems either. You would notice that in some of my rhymes that I haven't finished, a lot of them talk bout hating my family, because its just gotten so fucked lately. As for influences I would have to say, I've got the humor and i dont give a fuck attitude of Eminem, The wacked out mentality of Kool Keith and A LiL bit of my integrity and grittiness from Big L. But really, I am inspired by all mcs and all types of hip-hop music (Except for the madd rapper..damnit I hate his ass). I never was really a battle mc, I've always been more methodical in my thinking about my rhymes even though they can be gritty and very violent, fucked up (scary if your a pussy). I found that when I wanted to battle someone I didn't like...I just ended up talking shit and that battle never took place, or it the battle would take place, I couldn't handle myself, meaning I'd spit whack shit, so I now try to handle it in one shot and not accept it.

My favourite mcs dwell into a lot of underground shit or shit that sounds dark and methodical, non gangsta shit...I mean 2Pac will always be my favorite because simply he was the best. Right now, Im listenin to a lot of Big L, X-Raided, Wu-Tang, Eminem, Pharoah Monch, Saukrates, Kool Keith, just the stuff that doesn't sound all commercial.
