The following is an interview between Hugz Boss and Mixmaster Mike, conducted July 22nd, 1998. Mixmaster Mike has recently joined the Beastie Boys Camp as their DJ and he is best known as a member of the infamous DJ'ing group the Invisibl Skratch Piklz.
When did you first get into hip hop ?

I met Adam Yauch at Rocksteady Anniversary in 1995 NYC
How did you become their DJ ?
When they opened the door to their space craft I walked in.
Can you please give me your defanition of the phrase 'Keepin' It Real' ?
Keepin' it real is to create what's never been created.
