I was born September 1981 in Harrisburg, Pa. I've been listening to hip since about the 5th grade when Cypress Hill dropped "Insane in the Brain". I thought the lyrics were sharp, and told a great story. Plus the beat was mesmorizing. From that point on, I became addicted to hip hop. The second album I bought was "The Chronic" by Dr. Dre. After that, I picked up albums from Snoop, Cypress, and 2pac. In 7th grade I heard "Protect Ya Neck". The production was hardcore, and the recording was poor, but for some reason I liked it a hell of alot better than the slick west-coast rap. I went out and bought "Enter the Wu-Tang..." and I haven't stopped listening yet. I'd have to say the emcee to influence me most from the Wu would be Inspectah Deck, because I love his flow and his lyrics. He can put together a dart and have 5 words rhyme in one sentence. I haven't really battled a lot, simply because I usually take time to write my shit. At this point I listen to pretty much anything that keeps a beat, but I only spend my cream on Wu-Affiliated lp's. The Wu are, and always will be my all-time favorite hip hop crew.
