- Fugees are recording their third album right now tentivitly titled 'The
Family Reunion.'

Louise Marley.

Dr. Dre is rumored to be trying to put together an NWA reunion song for
The Chronic 2. He's supposedly getting all the members together an
using an old Eazy-E verse.

Jeru The Damaja's partner Afu is releasing a single called 'Whirlwind
Through Cities' off his upcoming album on Gee Street.

DMX is recording another album due out early-mid 99

Dope underground group The Arsonists got signed to Matador Records and
will release their album in March 99

Jesse Washington got more problems. Before issue 1 of Blaze dropped he
supposedly had a gun pulled on him by Wyclef. Now issue 2's about to drop and he gets beat down.
According to Sonicnet, the Blaze editor was about to publish a picture
of the Mad Rapper, and that's the reason Washington got a beating.

Four men are being questioned by police, including Deric "D-Dot"
Angelettie, who has been rumored to actually be the Mad Rapper himself.

John Singleton is making a rap-umentary similar to 'The Show' and 'Rhyme
& Reason" called 'The Flow'

There is a hot new track floating around that gonna be on a promo tape
called '5 Bouroughs' by KRS-One w/ Killah Priest, Mobb Deep, Run-DMC,
Keith Murray, Redman and Cam'ron. It'll officially show up on KRS-One's
album droppin' in early 99.

ODB was in court Tues to face terrorist charges, but the prosecutions
main piece of evidence was damaged, so they delayed the trial until Dec.
21. ODB then told people about his album outside of court while
chompin' on some candy. He told them that his album will be called 'God
Made Dirt and Dirt Don't Hurt' and he's lookin' to have collabos with
Madonna, Sublime, Snoop Dogg, Lauryn Hill and Gladys Knight.
- Pete Rock will be on 88hiphop.com today (November 4th) at 10pm ET for a live internet broadcast.
- The 4 Horsemen project (Killah Priest, Kurupt, Ras Kass and Canibus)
isn't gonna work out because there's beef between Canibus and Ras Kass.

Apparently, LA The Darkman's new album has been released at certain 'Sam Goody' stores in the States, prior to it's November 17th scheduled release date.
- Sexually explicit West Coast rapper DJ Quik is scheduled to release 'Rhythm-Al-Ism,' his fourth album, Nov. 24. The 16-track LP will feature several high-profile guests, including rappers Snoop Dogg, AMG and Peter Gunz and R&B singers Nate Dogg and El Debarge. Song titles include 'Medley for a 'V' (The Pussy Medley),' 'Down Down Down,' 'I Useta Know Her,' 'Hand in Hand' and 'Whateva U Do.'
- Xzibit will release "Pussy Pop' as a single and have a remix with Lil Kim
- The new Beatnuts album coming out in 99 will feature Fat Joe, Noreaga, Big Pun, Armaggedon (that's just one track), A.L., Rawcotiks, NoGooders and Ghostface Killah ( on the hottest track off the album)
- Common, Black Thought, Pharoah Monch and Jeru tha Damaja are collaborating to form the Psychic Union. This I think will be on Loud Records.
- The is a hip-hop movie coming out sometime in the future called 'A Boriqua's Bond.' It stars Treach, Tyson Bedford, Method Man, Sticky Fingaz, Redman, and Big Pun and has cameos from Psycho Les, Big L, Mistah Cheeks, A.L., Killah Priest, Hurricane G and Tony Touch.
- Canibus' EP is rumored to have Raekwon, DJ Primier and other NY heavy hitters. Also, it's rumored that Canibus isn't working with Wyclef any more.
- KRS One just moved to LA and took an A&R job at Reprise. His first
signing is said to be Kool Moe Dee.
