  • Tash prominently featured in a new movie. It's an adventure story put together by Snoop Dogg. Tash plays the role of "Co-Cheese" who happens to be a cell mate of Snoop. The pair manage to break out of jail and that's when the story kicks in. The title is unknown as of yet

  • Kurupt, Daz and Kurupt's bodyguard were shot at in LA yesterday. Daz sustained a bullet to his leg while Kurupt's bodyguard was killed in the crossfire. Although sources believe that the bullets were intended for Kurupt, he escaped unharmed. As predicted, this is widely believed to be a result of Kurupt's new joint 'Callin' Out Names'

  • Bad Boy will be officially releasing 'Dead Wrong' on October 26th

  • Dr. Dre, Snoop & Eminem should be on Saturday Night Live on October 23rd

  • Em will contribute the song 'Bad Influence' to the End Of Days Soundtrack, which is due out November 9th. 'Bad Influence' will also appear on his upcoming album. Other tracks on the upcoming album include 'Kim' and 'Stan,' a song about an obsessed fan. So far production has been done by Dr. Dre, FTB Productions, Mark the 45 King and Eminem himself.

  • Puff Daddy is going to make a remix of his new single 'Satisfy U' that features the Luniz.

  • The Hip Hop magazine, Rappages, are making their December issue their last. After 10 years of being on the scene lack of advertising and staffing has led to the decision.

  • Shots were fired through the front door of Daddy’s House on Friday. For those of you who don’t know, Daddy’s House is a recording studio owned by Puffy. Lil’ Kim and Lil’ Cease were recording inside but weren’t hurt. Apparently Shyne was the intended target of the bullets. For those of you who don’t know, this wouldn’t have been the first time Shyne was shot.

  • Ice Cube's 'War And Peace Volume 2: The Peace Disc' has been pushed back to early 2000. The album will feature Del Da Funkee Homosapien, Ms. Toi, Chris Rock, Mack 10 and more.

  • The motion picture 'Next Friday' will be starring the Lady of Rage and Sticky Fingaz as well as Cube

  • Another rapper has taken the 50 Cent track 'How To Rob' seriously, this time it's Sticky Fingaz. Sticky dissed 50 Cent on some radio show and he also said that Onyx will change their name and go off Def Jam.

  • I'm told by Tha Damaja, that Big Punisher's new album is set to be released on Nov. 17th, called, 'Papi's Got a Brand New Jam,' but I haven't had it confirmed by anyone, so currently this is just a rumour.

  • Sauce Money just got a phat deal at Priority Records. Priority Records wanted Sauce so bad that they bought him out of his contract at MCA, bought his album masters, and gave him major loot to change labels.

  • Pras of the Fugees is in talks to possibly star in a remake of the Hong Kong film 'Xia Dao Gao Fei.' The film would be renamed 'Full Contact' and will be released by New Line Cinema. The original story line is about a man's survival in the criminal underworld, but the script maybe slightly re-done for the American audiences.

  • After three years of talking about it, Chuck D and company have finally launched www.rapstation.com, a website that Chuck calls the "ESPN of hip hop." The site will feature interviews with some of Hip-Hop's elite, including The Roots, Mary J. Blige, Puff Daddy and others. The site also includes commentary from Chuck and an article by Wendy Day breaking down the science on what MCs really get paid.

  • Equilibrium's 'Fahrenheit 813' 12", which you may remember from Tha-Real a while back, may be pulled from stores. Microsoft are angry about the track 'Windows 98,' which loops the Windows start up music, are in the in the process of the stopping the sales of it.

  • Priority recently bought Sauce Money out of his deal with MCA, taking everything including his contract and masters of his album. No word on when it will finally get released.

  • 2Pac fans may be interested in 'Xchange,' a new tribute movie about Pac released on October 12th. Don't know much about the film, but expect a soundtrack with new cuts from Snoop Dogg, Ras Kass, The Dogg Pound, Ice-T and more.
