Mars is comin' from the Bay Area Ghetto Land Pittsburg and hits such topics as religion, child abuse, molesting and rape. But it don't stop at that. This self proclaimed 'baby rapper,' conseeds of his breast cutting accomplishments and domestic violence confrontations. The name Mars comes from his name Mario and was established as 'Mars' by his fellow label mates J, RZ and Grimace. Mars has helped establish a more offensive style of rape rap as one of the Mad Insanes. He gets his lyrics out of his anger towards the worlds attempts to strike back at it verbally. He listens to similar rap such as Brotha Lynch Hung and X-Rated but keeps his ears tuned for more mellow hip hop sounds like Mystic Journeymen, Living Legends Boac and Andre Nickatina.
