The first time I heard Bizarre or Bizarre Kid was on Eminem's 'Slim Shady' EP on the track 'No One's Iller.' He, Eminem and Fuzz ripped it down. Now Bizarre comes with an 7 track EP. It's not bad, but I feel Bizarre is one of those rappers who gets inspired a little too much. Every rapper has a certain style, Bizzy Bone raps at tremendous speeds, E-40 talks for hours, Ras Kass hits you with metaphors left, right and centre. Bizarre seems to be just like Eminem except slightly worse, don't get me wrong I like Bizarre but I feel that he is somewhat of a clone. Tracks like 'What, What' featuring Da Brigade aren't very appealing, the beats are awful and the lyrics aren't too good either. The best track on the album, is 'Trife Thieves' on the track he collaborates once again with Eminem and Fuzz. 'Down Low' is straight weird, Bizarre sings "I'm in love with a lady, and she's nearly 380 and she can hardly fit in my Mercedes" it's mad funny, its about him and an overweight girlfriend. The chorus goes "Down low, fat hoe, keep it on the down low, fat hoe" and in the background you can hear "Don't be tellin' your friends." Unfortuantely that track is the shortest on the CD. "Even if you had amnesia, you never could forget me" that's right Bizarre, a nice EP, but it coulda been a lot nicer. |
