Who I Rep With |
Artist: Nas ft. 50 Cent & Bravehearts |
|
Definite gem. All emcees on this joint flow really nicely. A well sung hook, sinister beat, slick dopeness. Nothing more needs to be said.

Who's That Girl? |
Artist: Eve |
|
From the beat to the hook, this song has "radio" written all over it. Take that line however you want it. The chorus sounds like the usual that is expected from the Ruff Ryders camp. Again, take that line however you want. Eve comes off so-so at first, which is not good for a first single to a long awaited "comeback" album. However, things pick up heavily on the final
verse. A near case of "too little, too late."

How Many Licks (Remix) |
Artist: Lil' Kim ft. Snoop Dogg |
|
At first listen, this sing comes off kind of wack. But after a few replays it grows on you. This joint is strictly for the clubs and will definitely have some bodies moving. Snoop's performance is not that impressive, but how would you expect him to come off on a song like this? This remix is definitely better than the original.

B.K. Anthem |
Artist: Foxy Brown |
|
The title says it all. Foxy Brown returns with an okay song professing her love for her hometown. Foxy has been spitting her lyrics with a lot more venom lately, as evident on here. That's about the only highlight with this track. Maybe you have to be from Brooklyn to truly appreciate this.

Hold Tight |
Artist: De La Soul |
|
A recently released white label which contains a track left off of De La's latest release. The track's not too bad, it's on the usual De La relaxed vibe, but isn't particularly outstanding when compared to their other tracks. Nice production, okay vocals. Okay cut.

New York, New York |
Artist: Angie Martinez ft. Prodigy |
|
This song had potential. With Prodigy rhyming, nothing could go wrong. But Prodigy's rhyming just happen to be where the song does go wrong. P comes off very lackluster, unlike his usual self. And Angie is...well...Angie.

What Means The World To You (Remix) |
Artist: Cam'Ron ft. Various Artists |
|
This remix has Ludacris, Trina, and UGK dropping verses along with Cam. An interesting lineup that leads to an interesting remix. However, with all the added guests the song loses its flare and fun found on the original. Especially with the hook virtually gone.

Spanish Song |
Artist: Tonedeff |
|
I've been listening to this joint for a minute and I've gotta say. I'm feelin' it. Tonedeff hooked up for Domingo for this track which I heard is meant to be on Domingo's spanish rap compilation. Tonedeff drops some well articulated rhymes with nice punchlines and a light-hearted tone(no pun intended) fills the track with a comedic hook. Definite dopeness.

The Good Life |
Artist: Mr. Live |
|
Mr Live was 'Splashin' Over Monica' not too long ago and now he's talking about "The Good Life." Over a nice beat, my fellow Englishman drops some nice rhymes with an okay "grower" hook. Not breathtaking but nicely done.

The Streets |
Artist: Kool G Rap |
|
Kool G Rap damn well knows how to do a street anthem, he's done enough of them. This supposedly will be on his forthcoming Rawkus solo and is pretty hot. Over a nicely animated beat, G Rap flows about the streets. A simple hook slots in to complete the jigsaw.

Fight To The Death |
Artist: The LOX |
|
This track, supposedly from the Oz soundtrack is well, alright. The rhymes relate to jail life and are well written, however, they aren't performed as well as they're written. Plus, the hook and beat aren't too amazing. With that said though, the track isn't pure shite, it's alright actually.

Black Wednesday |
Artist: Severe |
|
We threw up the other joint on this 12" with Royce a while ago. This track is also a nice joint, with a slick beat containing sinister edges and a nicely paced rhyme scheme by Severe. The lyrics are quite good, not excellent, either way, the track's worth checking at least once.
